Yom Kippur - Day of Atonement
Yom Kippur, or the Day of Antonement, is the holiest day of the Feasts of the Lord, and provides prophetic insight regarding the Second Coming of Messiah, the restoration of national Israel, and the final judgment of the world. It is also a day that reveals the High-Priestly work of Yeshua as our Kohen Gadol (High Priest) after the order of Malki-Tzedek (Beb. 5:10, 6:20) [from Hebrew4Christians.com]
There were two great atonements given by YHVH:
-
Individual (permanent) atonement for those who turn to Yeshua
-
Purification of the nation of Israel during the great Day of the LORD at the end of days.
