Statement of Faith
We believe in one God, as He revealed Himself in the Scriptures. “Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is One.” (KJV Deuteronomy 6:4) We believe that the intended meaning of this word “One” is found in the original Hebrew text, which used the word “echad” and means “a composite unity.”
We believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Son of God, the Messiah (the Christ), the Eternal One in Whom all the fullness of the deity dwells in the bodily form, and who is the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us, and whose glory we beheld, the glory of the uniquely begotten Son of God, full of grace and truth.
We believe that the Spirit of God comforts, teaches, leads, indwells and empowers all whom He regenerates.
We believe that the Bible, both the Tanakh (Old Testament) and the Brit Chadasha (New Covenant), is the only inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16-17). Through Moses, God wrote His Torah (Instructions - the first five books of the Bible). This is the Covenant between God and Israel, and is the Ketubah or marriage contract.
We believe that all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
We believe that Yeshua’s death and resurrection accomplished the atonement for all who would place their faith in Him. Whoever trusts in God, in His work alone, is made a new creation in Messiah, indwelt by the Spirit of God, and is transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of His own Son. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 5 & 6)
We believe that God created the heavens and the earth (Gen. 1-3), that God destroyed the earth with a flood, yet saved Noah and his family. After time God chose to make a nation for Himself, centering on the faith of Abraham through Isaac, then Jacob. This nation He named Israel. Israel is holy (set apart for God). The land and the people are His. As believers in Yeshua (Jesus) whether born Jew or Gentile, when we accept the Messiah by faith as our Savior, we are grafted into the nation Israel. Eph. 2:12-14, Rom 11:17-21.
We believe in being saved by faith and faith alone, with faith being an action word. A person must have a heart of action, for instance: "If you love me keep MY commandments." John 14:15.
We believe in the return of Yeshua to earth to set up His kingdom in the land of Israel as taught by both the Tanakh and the Brit Chadasha.
We believe in the immersion in living waters done in the name of Adonai Yeshua HaMashiach.
